Tattoo After care

If we put Saniderm on your tattoo:

Leave on for a maximum of 5 days. If it becomes too itchy, unbearable, or leaks/breaks take it off and follow instructions starting with #1.

Once you remove the Saniderm, wash immediately with warm water and non-scented or mild scented antibacterial soap. Apply non-scented lotion whenever tattoo becomes dry.

No Saniderm or Early Saniderm removal:

1. After 3 hours, remove the bandage gently and wash with warm water and mild antibacterial soap. DO NOT REBANDAGE.

2. Apply a thin layer of unscented lotion after washing and drying.

3. Stay out of sunlight and tanning booths until tattoo is healed, at least 2 weeks.

4. Do not soak tattoo in tub, sauna, jacuzzi or go swimming while your new tattoo is healing (at least 2 weeks). Showers are fine.

5. DO NOT RUB or PICK the treated area while it is healing. Loss of pigment and/or infection could occur.

6. Extreme sun exposure over the years can and will fade your tattoo. This can be minimized by using a strong sunscreen.

7. Your tattoo should heal in about 2 weeks but can take longer to completely settle into the skin. If any signs or symptoms develop such as redness at site, green/yellow discharge (foul smelling) and/or fever please contact us and a physician ASAP.

8. Everyone’s tattoo heals differently, so contact us if you have any concerns. Should you have any problems or questions call or text us!
